remember those scooters that were popular for 15 minutes in, I don't know, 2002 or so? I totally got one for Christmas when I was 13 and then promptly forgot about it. I want to write this fic so hardcore: after having fucked around as 'just friends' on Warped Gabe and Patrick end up hooking back up on Honda Civic in 2007. It's the first time Patrick hasn't lived on a bus with his whole band, Pete's got Ashlee and isn't as preoccupied with Patrick as he was during Warped, and working on Viva La Cobra has him talking to Gabe a lot more. They start having sex under the understanding that it's the same arrangement as Warped but as the tour rolls on it starts becoming clear it's more than that, and maybe that Patrick's more than sort of okay with it. There would be all kinds of shenanigans, Gabe being adorable and kind of awkward, Gabe/Patrick actual relationship (nothing would be about Pete!), and of course, Pete having to cope with Patrick Having A Boyfriend because after throwing a royal hissy fit for reasons not even Pete understands, Patrick would ultimately tell him you either deal with this or you fuck off.

It would be amazing. But I have no idea if it will get written. I have nothing on the table that will Definitely Get Written right now.
